Wong

Wong is a supermarket chain in Peru, part of one of Latin America's largest retail groups, which also operates the Metro stores and runs in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Colombia. The shops carry everyday groceries alongside household goods, electronics and other general merchandise. The gift card arrives as a digital e-voucher in PDF form. You present it at the checkout of any Wong or Metro physical store nationwide in Peru, either on your phone or printed, together with your ID, and you sign the purchase slip. It does not work on the online store, phone orders or dealerships. The voucher is valid for 11 months from the date shown on it, extensions are not allowed, and the value has to be used in full in one go rather than exchanged for cash. It suits anyone in Peru who shops in person for groceries and household basics, and anyone sending a practical gift to family or friends there. The voucher is payable to the bearer, so keep it safe: lost, stolen or misused vouchers are not replaced and no duplicates are issued.
